Summary
It is nearly impossible for Kitsy Blanc, PricewaterhouseCooper’s US sourcing branding manager,
to choose a favourite or most meaningful moment from the six days she spent in Belize City
last summer, as part of PwC’s community service trip, the so-called Project Belize. But when she
reflects on the trip, Blanc can’t help but reflect on the final time PwC’s group of interns and staff
members interacted with the general manager of Belize City’s Anglican schools.
“We brought her to tears,” Blanc said, of the affect she and the more than 120 PwC interns
and staff had on Carol Babb. She broke down and said, “When you folks came down here and had
all these great ideas, I had my doubts about how much of an impact you could make. But watching
you interact with our children…I believe.”
